JOYFUL BLESSINGS 13

Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has visited and redeemed His people. He has sent us a mighty Savior from the royal line of His servant David, just as He promised through His holy prophets long ago. Luke 1:68-70

Just as He promised. The connection lines drawn between Old Testament prophecy and New Testament fulfillment never cease to amaze me. Through prophets, God spoke Truth yet to come as the world waited for the Messiah. All His promises are yes and amen through Jesus (His Word tells us)! Even so today for us. We have much to make a joyful noise about in Him. Jesus came, and He is coming again. Praise the Lord!

Jesus, I praise You because You came to this side of heaven. I have hope and joy overflowing from Your gift of redemption. As I celebrate Your Christmas day coming this Advent season, I eagerly await for You to come again. Your promises are forever true, and I can always trust You. In Your Name, Amen.
